Small Deck Redo
The busy Grandma desired an outdoor area to unwind and have lunch with her grandkids, as well as a spot to read a book and savor the outdoor surroundings. So many clients like to have options when it comes to outdoor furniture in the Cincinnati, Ohio Tri-State area, and this project was no exception.
She envisioned a small scale seating nook with pops of color (teal and orange, her daughter’s wedding colors) surrounded by vibrant flowers and lush greenery. A small dining table would sit nearby, perfect for serving homemade sandwiches and lemonade to her eager grandkids. To stay within budget, a discontinued material from Summer Classics was a perfect choice! Functional garden stools act as an end table or extra seating when needed.
In one corner, an existing chaise lounge chair was used to give a space for her or her grandkids to use to take a nap or simply kick their feet up to enjoy a peaceful retreat. Soft cushions and a warm throw blanket would ensure comfort during cooler evenings. The scent of blooming roses and the melodic chirping of birds would provide a soothing backdrop, making every visit to her outdoor space a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
